DEVIpipeguard™ 30/60 Industry

DEVIpipeguard™ 30/60 Industry is a self-limiting heating cable designed for pipe frost protection and temperature maintenance in industrial applications.
 
The cable can maintain process temperatures up to 120°C when energized and withstand temperatures up to 190°C when not energized. It is suitable for applications where steam cleaning of pipes is required.
 
The heating element, insulation and outer jacket are manufactured from fluoropolymer materials. The fluoropolymer outer jacket is designed for use in environments where exposure to oils, fuels and mechanical abrasion may occur.
 
A temperature-dependent resistance element positioned between two parallel copper conductors automatically adjusts heat output according to the local pipe temperature. As temperature increases, the cable output decreases. This self-limiting operating principle helps reduce the risk of cable overheating, including in areas where sections of cable overlap.
 
The parallel conductor design allows the cable to be cut to the required length on site, supporting adaptation to different pipe layouts and installation requirements.
 
All self-limiting heating cables require over-temperature protection through an appropriate control system. The use of a thermostat is recommended. Output is reduced as temperature increases but does not reach zero.
DEVIpipeguard™ 30/60 Industry is not approved for use in drinking water applications.
