DEVIpipeheat™ 10 V2

DEVIpipeheat™ 10 V2 is a self-limiting heating cable designed for frost protection of pipes. The cable automatically adjusts its heat output in response to changes in temperature along the cable, helping maintain frost protection where required.
The heating cable can be installed on the outside of water pipes.
The product range includes:
  • Drum cable
  • Cable with cold lead and mains plug
All self-limiting heating cables must be protected by a thermostat to limit operating temperature. The installation must also be protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a maximum trip current of 30 mA.

Important Notes

Note 1
The cable is not approved for installation inside water pipes and must not be used in contact with drinking water, water intended for human consumption, wastewater, or similar applications.
Note 2
The installer or system designer is responsible for selecting a suitable cold lead and connection components that provide the required mechanical strength, water tightness, and flammability resistance. The heating system must be designed with the correct output for the application to avoid excessive temperatures in the cable or surrounding materials.
