DEVIiceguard™ 18 (B) Drum Goods
DEVIiceguard™ 18 is a self-limiting parallel heating cable designed for ice and snow melting applications on roofs, in gutters, and in downpipes. The cable adjusts its heat output according to the surrounding temperature conditions, helping maintain effective operation in varying weather conditions.
The heating cable can be cut to the required length during installation and fitted directly onto roof and gutter systems. DEVIiceguard™ heating cables must not be installed in direct contact with bitumen roofs.
All self-limiting heating cables require over-temperature protection provided by a thermostat. As the cable continues to generate heat output, although at a reduced level, protection by an RCD with a maximum trip current of 30 mA is required.
