Self-Limiting Heating Cable for Roofs, Gutters and Downpipes
The DEVIiceguard™ 18 (T) is a self-limiting parallel heating cable designed for ice and snow melting applications on roofs and in gutters and downpipes. The cable adjusts its heat output according to the surrounding temperature, supporting frost protection and reducing ice build-up in exposed areas.
Its flexible construction allows installation directly on roof and gutter systems. The cable can be cut to the required length on site, supporting adaptation to project requirements.
DEVIiceguard™ heating cables must not be installed in direct contact with bitumen.
All self-limiting heating cables require over-temperature protection through a thermostat. As the cable output decreases with increasing temperature but does not reach zero, protection by an RCD with a maximum trip current of 30 mA is required.
